Alba Parietti bio
Alba Parietti was the official representative of Italy during the 1981 Miss Universe beauty pageant. Prior to that, however, she made a name in the stage scene in 1977 when she appeared in the Oscar Wilde play "The Importance of Being Ernest". After her Miss Universe stint, Alba soon became heavily involved in the Italian film circuit, appearing in several movies that had US releases like "Time for Loving" ("Sapore di Mare"), "The Butcher" ("Il Macellaio"), and "Bye Bye Baby". Alba also graced the covers of the Italian version of Playboy, appearing in its May 1998 issue. Additionally, she also appeared in Playmen for its January and December 1993 editions. Apart from that, Alba was voted one of the 25 Sexiest Women for 1994 as revealed by Celebrity Sleuth. Alba was once married to fellow Italian actor Franco Oppini who was eleven years her senior when they tied the knot. The union produced a son, Francesco.
