| Alena Seredova started gaining international attention when she was crowned the 1998 Vice Miss Czech Republic, a title that eventually allowed her to enter international modeling four years later when she was taken in to be the official model for the primetime television program of Giorgio Panariello, a famous Italian comedian. This led to appearances in several Italian comedy films including "Ho visto le Stelle" and "Christmas in Love". After her stint in the comedic scene, Alena tried her hand at more serious work, that of a magazine model where she became quite successful, gracing the covers of such prestigious magazines as Spy, Quo, Penthouse Europe, Extreme, and Playboy Europe. This was capped by her exclusive contract as the official Max Calendar model in 2005. Alena is currently engaged to Gianluigi Buffon, the famous soccer player who serves as goalkeeper for the Juventus, considered as the most successful football team in Italy with a record eleven international titles tucked under its belt. |
