| Alesha Palmer is principally an American stage actress who has performed in various plays, but can perhaps be best remembered for being in the cast of the classic play "The Man Who Came to Dinner" which has been staged at least a hundred times since George S. Kaufman first wrote it sometime during the 1930's. For its 2004 staging, the cast for the play included the lovely Alesha and she delivered such fine performance that during the Thespian Awards later that year, she was able to walk away with the Director's Choice Award. Another play, "Something's Afoot", also had another actress with a similar last name, Jessica Palmer, who likewise captured the very same award. With the recognition, Alesha hopes to eventually solidify her name in the stage world. This has not been quite easy for her in previous years mainly because she has a namesake who has already established herself as a gospel singer. |
