| Alessia Marcuzzi is more popularly known among Italian television watchers as the program host of "La lene", the Italian edition of the popular Argentine TV program, "Caiga Quien Caiga", whose genre is basically news and public affairs spiced up with dashes of comedy. In spite of her success on television, Alessia made an attempt at launching a movie career in 1998, playing a part in the Italian movie "Il Mio West" under the direction of Leonardo Pieraccioni. After that, she went back to television, appearing in two Italian TV series, namely "Carabinieri" and "Tequila and Bonetti". The latter was originally an American television program that was adapted for Italian viewing. Apart from her work as a TV actress, Alessia was also involved in modeling. Some of her more popular projects involved calendar poses for prominent magazines Panorama and Max which she both undertook in 1998. A previous relationship with Italian football star Simone Inzaghi produced a son. At present, Alessia is involved in a new relationship with another Italian football player, Carlo Cudicini, while busy with the TV show "Grande Fratello 7". |
