| Amber Heard's career took off just in recent years, but this young American actress already has quite a long list of television and movie credits to her name. She was born in Austin, Texas on April 22, 1986, and it was during her junior year at St. Michael's Catholic Academy when she realized that she wanted to pursue a career in show business. So she left for Hollywood, and began a series of minor appearances in both TV and film. Her first television stint was in an episode in Jack & Bobby in 2004, and her first movie role was in Friday Night Lights. After these two projects, Amber Heard continued to make waves in the business with an assortment of roles for both the small and big screens. But perhaps her most memorable performances are in Hidden Palms for TV, and in the horror film All the Boys Love Mandy Lane. In 2008, Amber Heard has a long list of projects, and the world is sure to see more of her in the years to come. |
