| Amber Valetta initially planned on becoming a sociologist when she was a young girl. Her outstanding beauty, though, had other plans, and her mother eventually took her to a modeling academy where she learned the art of being a stunning model.
It did not take long before Amber found herself doing poses for the Italian magazine Vogue, which was quickly followed up by her first major break, a cover page appearance for Elle. The road to modeling stardom was clearly at hand.
What consequently followed was a long list of modeling achievements for Amber that included projects for such prominent names as Bruce Weber, Peter Lindbergh, Paolo Roversi, Steven Meisel, and Richard Avedon. Additionally, she also did advertising campaigns for Versace, DKNY, Valentino, Prada, Chanel, and Gucci.
It was then off to the movies for Amber, where she appeared in several prominent films. She made her mark, however, in "What Lies Beneath" where she co-starred opposite superstar Harrison Ford. Another noted film was "Drop Back Ten", an independently produced movie. |
