Anna Hecht - Biography, pictures and video galleries
| Born in Ohio, Anna Hecht had a very sad childhood. According to her, her dad who was known to be a drunkard molested her. Aside from the abuse, Anna also claimed that she suffered from herpes because of the unforgivable abuse of her dad. In 1983, Anna faced a great challenge when her beloved brother had a terrible car accident. That year, Anna's father also died because of AIDS. Despite all these struggles, Anna's dream of becoming an actress never disappeared. So when she had a chance, Anna accepted an offer for "As the World Turns," a very popular soap opera. This beautiful actress became well known for her part in "Another World," which gave her the Daytime Emmy Award. Later on, she was casted on the big screen and became engaged in various film projects including "Six Days Seven Nights," "Wag the Dog," "Volcano," "Donnie Brasco," and the popular "Psycho." At the peak of her career, Anna confessed her lesbian tendencies; she even had a public relationship with fellow actress, Ellen DeGeneres. But the public wasn’t supportive of this issue, so Anna moved on with her life by marrying Coleman Laffoon and later, James Tupper. |
