A stunning actress and former model, Carey Lowell was born February 11, 1961 in New York and spent most of her childhood in different countries because of her father's work, who was a noted geologist. Shortly after her high school graduation, she was discovered by the renowned Ford Modeling Agency and began to pose for international names such as Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. Carey is widely known for her role as "Pam Bouvier" opposite Timothy Dalton in the 1989 James Bond movie "License To Kill." She has also portrayed the role of "Jamie Ross" in the hit TV cop drama "Law & Order." As a talented actress, her other film credits include "Dangerously Close," "Down Twisted," "Road to Ruin," "Sleepless in Seattle," "Love Affair," "Leaving Las Vegas," "Fierce Creatures," and the TV film "More Than Meets The Eye: The Joan Brock Story." She is now currently married to actor Richard Gere and like him, Carey is a Tibetan Buddhist.
