A Dutch movie and theatre actress named, Carice Anouk van Houten was born in a place called Leiderdorp, the Netherlands on September 5, 1976. Houten is the offspring of Margje Stasse and Theodore van Houten. Carice can speak four languages (Dutch, English, German and French) fluently. She has an actress sister named Jelka van Houten. She won the Golden Calf for her character as Suzy in 'Suzy Q' (TV film) by Martin Koolhoven, her first major leading role. Houten also grabbed the Best Actress for Golden Calf for portraying the role, Minoes in 'Undercover Kitty' (Film) in 2001.In 2006, she was nominated several times when she did the "Black Book", where Houten met her boyfriend, Sebastian Koch. In August 2009, Koch and Houten decided to end their relationship. Her film 'Black Book' began her global career. Houten appeared in different motion pictures like 'Valkyrie' (2008) and 'Repo Men' (2010).
