Charlotte Lucy Gainsbourg is a famous actress, a celebrity personality and a singer-songwriter. Gainsbourg's birth place is in London, England, UK (July 21, 1971).Her parents are Jane Birkin (British actress and singer) and Serge Gainsbourg (French singer, songwriter, actor and director). Charlotte started her acting career when she was starred in the film, "Paroles et musique" (1984). Gainsbourg caught the eyes of numerous award giving bodies because of her astonishing talent in acting. In 1986, Gainsbourg won the César Award for "Most Promising Actress" for the movie "L'effrontée". She also grabbed the award for "Best Supporting Actress" for the 1999 film La Bûche in 2000. She won the Best Actress award for the film Antichrist at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival. Gainsbourg pursued her singing career; she released her debut album entitled, "Charlotte for Ever" in 1986. Her popular songs are "The Songs That We Sing" and "Heaven Can Wait".
