| Christine Joan Taylor is an American actress born in Allentown and grew up in neighboring Wescosville, Pennsylvania. She began her acting career in 1989 at the age of 18 on the Nickelodeon Network children's television series "Hey Dude" where she played the lifeguard Melody Hanson. She went on working for that role until 1991 while she was doing various guestings on other prestigious programs. Because of this, She was awarded the lead role in the television series "Party Girl," based on the 1995 film of the same name. Among her television appearances include in HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Arrested Development," among others. Her break-through role was playing ther role as Marcia Brady in "The Brady Bunch Movie" In the 1990s Taylor dated actor Matthew Lillard. Almost seven years ago, Taylor tied the knot with Ben Stiller. Her love story with the actor-writer began when she started filming for "Heat Vision" and "Jack". Her relationship with her beloved continued for years and on April 2002, she and Stiller had their first daughter -- Ella Olivia Stiller. They had a second child, a son named Quinlin Dempsey Stiller, on July 10, 2005. |
