| The very first Canadian to get accepted in Australia's prestigious National Institute of Dramatic Art, Deborah Kara Unger is fit to become one of the showbiz industry's talented actresses. Born in Vancouver, British Columbia on May 12, 1966, Deborah studied philosophy and economics before embarking on an acting career. She made her first attempt at an acting career by starring in the TV drama, "Bangkok Hilton" in 1989. After that award-winning TV stint, she also appeared in several other TV series, including "Hotel Room" in 1993. With her success in TV, it is with little doubt that Deborah will also make it to the big screen. In 1990, she launched her movie career with "Prisoners of the Sun," a feature film directed by Stephen Wallace. She made several other films after that, including "Whisper's in the Dark," "Till There Was You," "Thirteen," among many others. When not making movies, Deborah spends her free time in either Los Angeles or Vancouver. |
