| Dina Meyer (born on December 22, 1968) is one of Hollywood's athletic actresses who didn't mind doing her own stunts. A native of Queens, New York, Dina already loved acting at an early age. She began her career working as a model until she was 16 years old. She always wanted to pursue acting, but her parents wanted her to finish college first. Dina studied in Long Island University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in business administration. After finishing school, Dina enrolled in The Neighborhood Playhouse to become an actress. Dina's first acting stint was in the popular TV series, "Beverly Hills 90210" where she played the character of Lucinda Nicholson. Her big Hollywood break came in 1993, with a role in "Strapped," but it wasn't until "Johnny Mnemonic" that she became well-known. As a matter of fact, her acting in "Johnny Mnemonic" landed her several other films in the sci-fi genre, including "Birds of Prey," "Star Trek: Nemesis," and "Starship Troopers." Apart from movies, Dina also appeared in a number of TV shows like "Miss Match" and "Friends." |
