Edwige Fenech bio
Italian actress and movie producer Edwige Fenech was born Edwige Sfenek on the 24th of December 1948 in French Algeria. Edwige starred in all kinds of European movies from late 1960s to early 1980s. She became famous for her erotic comedies and was known for her adult films such as "Five Dolls for an August Moon", "Only I Have the Key and Sex with a Smile" and "Your Vice is a Locked Room". Finally, she made it big on television in the 80s joining Barbara Bouchet on a chat show on Italian TV. Her dream of becoming a movie producer finally happened in 2004 when she did "The Merchant of Venice" starring Al Pacino. Edwige worked with Quentin Tarantino's suspense film "Hostel: Part II" in 2007 which was directed by Eli Roth. Tarantino created a character inspired by Edwige's name in his film "Inglourious Basterds" in 2009 where Mike Myers played British general Ed Fenech. In mid 90s, Edwige had a relationship with Luca di Montezemolo who is a famous Italian industrialist.
