| Born in Stockholm, Sweden on January 1, 1980, Elin Nordegren is known to the rest of the world as the wife of famous golfer, Tiger Woods. Before marrying Woods, Elin was a model during her teens. Her athletic figure and good looks often land her modeling gigs for swimsuit and sports projects. Not one to trade education for a successful modeling career, Elin enrolled in a school in Berlin and studied psychology. Apart from modeling, Elin (together with her twin sister) also worked as a nanny for Jesper Parnevik, a famous Swedish golfer. As the nanny of the golfer's 4 children, Elin gets to travel with them to international competitions. It was during one of these travels that Elin was introduced to Tiger Woods. The two began dating soon afterwards and the media started keeping a keen eye on them. In 2003, the couple got engaged in a famous game reserve in South Africa. The following year, Elin was married to Tiger Woods. Since becoming Mrs. Woods, Elin had been the subject of controversy. It was said that Elin posed nude in several photos; a story which was now confirmed as untrue. |
