| Award-winning French actress Elsa Florence Zylberstein was born on the 16th of October 1968 in Paris. Elsa started her career in 1989 with her debut film "Baptême" and since then on appeared in more than 50 films including "Van Gogh" which was directed by Maurice Pialat and "Mina Tannenbaum" as well as "Farinelli", "Mr. N.", and "Jefferson" in Paris. Elsa won the Michel Simon Prize and was nominated three times for the César Award for "Most Promising Actress" before winning the César Award for "Best Supporting Actress" for the movie "I've Loved You So Long" in 2008. She won another award, which is the Prix Romy Schneider for the movie "Beau fixe" in 1993. She also starred in "Little Jerusalem", "J'invente rien" and two movies that was screened in the Berlin Festival, "I've Loved You So Long" and "La Fabrique des sentiments". Elsa had a relationship with actor, director and writer Antoine de Caunes from 1997 to 2005 and later on dated Georges-Marc Benamou who is an advisor to French president Nicolas Sarkozy. |
