| Eva Mendes, born in March 1974, is an American actress. Mendes started acting in the late 90s. She went from ads to music videos to TV soap opera guestings and supporting roles in movies. She also appeared in the video of "Miami" by Will Smith. She got her big break in film in the critically-acclaimed, award-winning movie 'Training Day'. Her performance in 'Training Day' led to other notable roles in several films. She starred in 'Stuck on You' and in 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico.' She was 'Sara,’ the female lead co-starring Will Smith in 'Hitch', a comedy movie. She was nominated in the Teen Choice Awards for her acting in 'Once Upon a Time in Mexico'. She stars opposite Nicolas Cage in 'Ghost Rider'. Mendes is a Revlon spokesperson-slash-model. She also has a background in interior design and has also written books for children. She is number 27 in Maxim 2006 Hot 100 issue. |
