Fergie - Biography, pictures and video galleries
| Stacy Ann Ferguson, the Dutchess, the Black Eyed Peas lead singer – these are all one person, and she is Fergie, the multi-talented actress, singer, dancer, and songwriter. Fergie began her show business career with Kids Incorporated, and this secured her future as a singer. She became part of the group Wild Orchid with fellow cast member Renee Sandstorm. The girl group released 2 albums, but their last one was not put out by their label. Fergie fell into a bit of a slump with drugs after this career bump, but in 2003 she was asked to become the lead of a popular underground R&B/hip-hop group, the Black Eyed Peas. Fergie's addition to the Black Eyed Peas gave the group mainstream success, and this also allowed her to prove her stuff as a soloist with her Top 5 hit-album, The Dutchess. In all of music history, this is only the seventh time for this to happen. |
