Fernanda Tavares bio
Brazilian supermodel Fernanda Tavares was born on the 22th of September 1980 in Natal, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil. At just age 9, Tavares has already appeared in local shows and four years after that became the winner for the "Elite Look of the Year" contest. A year after winning the contest, she moved to Sao Paulo to get more modeling opportunities. In 1998, Tavares signed up a modeling contract with Marilyn Modeling Agency both in New York City and Paris and since then can be seen on the covers and pages of international fashion magazines including Marie Claire, Vogue Paris, ELLE, Cosmopolitan, Allure, and the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Tavares was also seen on the runway for top designers and signed a contract with perfume company Guerlain. She also worked both print and runway for Victoria's Secret. Aside from being a successful model, Tavares is also the host of Missão MTV, which is a show inspired by American TV show "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy". Tavares is currently married to Brazilian actor Murilo Rosa and they have a son together.
