Francesca Frankie Rayder, an American supermodel, was born on the 26th of January 1975 in Wisconsin. Rayder' s inclination was not originally towards a modeling career. In her teens living in Minneapolis, Minnesota, a scout for models approached her, but it was her encounter photographer Steven Meisel in 1992 that spelled Rayder’s success in the fashion industry. After many photo shoots with Meisel, the Italian Glamour magazine soon featured her in its pages. Rayder then worked for several agencies like the Company Page 305 Women Model Management City Models Storm Take Two and Why Not as she traveled to Miami Beach, Milan, Paris and London. Her portfolio has the famous names of Chanel, Givenchy, Lagerfield, Valentino, Dolce & Gabbana, Gucci, DKNY, Versace, Tommy Hilfiger and The Gap in it. Rayder has modeled for designers Anne Klein Donna Karan Matthew Williamson Carolina Herrera Zac Posen Michael Kors and Marc Jacobs. Her figure has graced several fashion magazines including Vogue Elle Photo, The Face, Allure, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, and Rebel. She was featured in the Sports Illustrated 2005 and 2006 Swimsuit Issues as well as the Victoria's Secret fashion show. She also had a cameo appearance in Ben Stiller’s movie Zoolander. Her husband is Michael Balzary otherwise known as Flea of the band Red Hot Chili Peppers. On October 26 2005, she delivered their first baby, a girl they named Sunny Bebop Balzary.
