| Aussie model and movie star Gemma Louise Ward's date of birth is on the 3rd of November 1987 and hails from Perth, Western Australia. In 2004, Gemma was the youngest model to be included in the list of "It Girls" by Vogue U.S.A. This is the list of nine of the hottest girls in the modeling world and she was just 16 years old at that time. She was also the youngest girl to be featured on the cover of Vogue U.S.A. and the first teen to appear on Teen Vogue magazine's cover page. Gemma has worked with renowned international designers including Prada, Versace, Chanel, Gucci, Alexander McQueen and Valentino and can be seen in several magazine covers including Vogue and the Style and Design issue of TIME Magazine. In 2008, Gemma also tried her luck in acting and starred in her debut film "The Black Balloon" which had its world premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival in Germany where it got a Crystal Bear for best feature length film in the category of Generation 14plus. Since then, she starred in more films like the suspense thriller "The Strangers" and also featured in John Mayer's music video of "Daughters". Gemma was reported to have been dating actor Heath Ledger before he died in 2008. |
