| English actress Indira Varma was born on 1973 in Bath, Somerset. Before she became a famous actress, Indira was a member of Musical Youth Theatre Company. She had her debut on film with the movie "Clancy's Kitchen" in 1996 and since then appeared in several TV series and film including the critically-acclaimed movie "Kama Sutra: A Tale of Love" in 1997 and "Bride and Prejudice" in 2004. She also played the young Roman wife Niobe during the first season of the award-winning series "Rome", which was aired in BBC/HBO. Indira also starred in the first and eight episode of BBC Three's science-fiction drama series "Torchwood" in 2006. She also played the character of Inspector Cate Pritchard in the fourth season premier of hit US detective drama "Bones" in 2008 and Zoe Luther in the six part BBC drama "Luther" in 2010. Indira is known now as Ilsa Pucci in the American action drama television series "Human Target". |
