| Russian supermodel Irina Shayk or Irina Sheik's real name is Irina Shaykhlislamova and she was born on the 6th of January 1986 in Yemanzhelinsk, Russia. She first joined the "Supermodel 2004" Chelyabinsk beauty pageant and won. She was discovered by a talent scout and asked her to pursue a career in modeling. Irina's modeling debut was in 2007 for "Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition" and since then appeared annually. In the same year, she also became the image model of lingerie brand Intimissimi and eventually becoming the official ambassador for Intimissimi brand in 2010. Irina also worked for famous fashion brands Lacoste, LaPerla, Beach Bunny, Guess, and Armani Exchange. Irina also graced the covers of international magazines such as GQ Spain and South Africa, Elle Spain, Ocean Drive, Woman Spain, Paris Capital, Jalouse, Annabelle, and Bolero. Irina ranked number one in "50 Hottest Russian Women" list by Complex magazine and Glamour Spain gave her the "Best International Model" award in 2010. Irina was also featured in Kanye West's music video "Power" in 2010. Irina is currently dating Portuguese footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. |
