| Jodie Foster (born November 19, 1962) is a renowned actress, producer, and director in Hollywood. A Yale University alumna, she appeared in roughly 50 TV programs and films before she could even finish her studies. Her first TV stint was her appearance in Mayberry R.F.D. and her first movie project was the Menace of the Mountain. After these, she made some Disney movies such as Napoleon and Samantha and One Little Indian. Her acting in the film Taxi Driver was recognized when she became an Academy Award nominee. Jodie became a very controversial actress when she was stalked by John Hinckley, Jr, U.S. President Regan’s assassinator and a man named Edward Richardson. Eventually, Jodie turned to a mature actress and starred in various award-winning films like The Accused and The Silence of the Lambs. Recently, Jodie Foster was a part of the blockbuster film Flightplan and Inside Man. She also did some acting in French-language movies like the Un long dimanche de fiançailles. |
