| British pop singer Keisha Buchanan's real name is Keisha Kerreece Fayeanne Buchanan and she was born on the 30th of September 1984 in Westminster, London. Her cousin is also a famous singer Simon Webbe of the boy band Blue. Keisha met Mutya Buena in primary school and they met Siobhan Donaghy in a music studio. They decided to form a girl group called the Sugababies, but later changed it to the Sugababes. In 1988, the girl group signed a record deal with London Records and two years after that, they had their first breakthrough hit "Overload" from the album "One Touch". In 2001, Donaghty left the group and was replaced by Heidi Range and signed a to a new record label. In 2005, Buena left the group and was replaced by Amelle Berrabah. Keisha left Sugababes in 2009 and was replaced by Jade Ewen. During her term with the group, they had seven singles that reached number one and two studio albums that also reached number one. Keisha was recently seen dating singer Peter Andre. |
