Kerry Fox became famous for her role of author Janet Frame in the movie An Angel at My Table, which gave her a Best Actress accolade from the New Zealand Film and Television Awards. This New Zealand born actress has established herself as an international actress specializing in independent films and on the boob tube. Initially making a name in Australia, Kerry decided to move to England and resume her acting career there. She usually shuns from interviews because she is a very private person who would rather let her performance do the talking. Kerry Fox had a noteworthy performance in the "Country Life," where she received a nomination from the Australian Film Institute Awards. Other nominations from various award giving bodies highlighted Kerry's storied career. 2001 saw her winning the Silver Bear Award for "Best Actress" for her worthy performance as Claire in the movie Intimacy which was an entry at the Berlin Film Festival.
