Kim Poirier bio
Born as Kim Jacinthe Poirier, Kim is a singer, actress, host and film producer. The daughter of actress and model Carol Laquerre, Poirier started out by modeling and appearing on TV commercials such as Aquafresh, Ontario Place, Bell Canada and Old El Paso. At 15 years old, the actress was supposed to appear in the TV show Breaker High as one of the leads but was denied the role when she refused to remove her tongue ring. Still, the Canadian actress started her acting career years later with the sci-fi show PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal. She then made minor appearances to severalshows before finally catching public interest in 2001 for the show Paradise Falls where she plays regular character Roxy Hunter. What followed are a series of appearances in both big and small screen. More recently, Poirier was chosen to play the role of Helen Gleason in the movie Four Saints and would be appearing in the episode “Clash of the Titans” of the show Eureka set to be aired on 2011.
