| Once listed by Time magazine as being among the world's most influential people, Laetitia Casta has undoubtedly left a mark on the world. Laetitia is best known as being among the few sexy, shapely models to have emerged in the high fashion scene. That's as much an achievement as any, with designers of high fashion preferring thin, tall, borderline-anorexic models over models with shapely figures. Since she was first spotted by a Corsican photographer, Laetitia has appeared in countless magazine spreads, including the Pirelli Calendar, which is made available to only a select few clientele. Recently, her beloved home France has chosen her as the new basis for Marianne, the long-serving representation of the country. A small rock band known as "Brand New" also composed a song that specifically mentions Laetitia. So far, she has only made a few movie appearances and always for French films. Rumors swirl that Hollywood execs have offered her roles, though none of them can actually be substantiated. She is currently married to Stefano Accorsi and has two children, one from a previous boyfriend. |
