| Lisa Loeb is one of those few stars of the music industry to have achieved significant success despite not acting like the stereotypical "pop princess," like Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan. Lisa began her career in 1995 with her first album, "Tails." Her boyfriend of several years, Juan Patino, helped produce the album. From this first album came her trademark song, "Stay," which has become her most enduring single. Her second album was released two years later, though it failed to meet the same success that her first album did. She participated in the tribute album to Ozzy Osbourne, "Bat Head Soup," singing with rock legend Dweezil Zappa providing guitar accompaniment. Her acting and TV career has been a rather limited one, with her most prominent role so far being in the form of Mary Jane Watson in "Spider-Man: The New Animated Series," which aired on MTV. She has appeared in a show based on her daily life, "#1 Single," but the show did not last that long. Her latest voice role came in the form of Lutina, a character from the console adventure "Grandia Xtreme." |
