AIDS activist and model Maggie Rizer can arguably claim that she's seen it all. After deciding to drop out of her university studies (which she chose in favor of a career as a model a few years prior), she began walking the runways for famous brands like Versace, Calvin Klein, and Max Mara. However, observers of the fashion world would likely remember her best as a model for Victoria's Secret. Part of her fame was her ability to adapt her stunning features to almost any theme or presentation, earning a comparison to a blank canvas that photographers could work on during a shoot. Recently, she's experienced an emotional blow when she learned that her accountant and stepfather had stolen a sizable amount of the money she'd earned as a model and gambled it away in a casino. Despite that event, she still continues to actively model (particularly for her favorites, Gucci and Prada), as well as promoting AIDS awareness. This is taken as an influence of her gay biological father, who eventually passed away.
