| Ming-Na is a Macanese-American actress who is known for lending her voice to the popular animated Disney character, Fa Mulan in the first Mulan movie and its sequel. She was born on November 20, 1963 in Coloane Island, Macau under the name, Wen Ming-Na. She spent most of her childhood in Hongkong until her parents decided to move to New York City. She completed her studies at Carnegie Mellon University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in drama. It was in the 1990s when Ming-Na would land a role in the critically acclaimed medical drama series “ER”, alongside George Clooney. Other notable television appearances include her performances in “As The World Turns” and “Vanished”. Ming-Na is also renowned for her role as Chun Li in “Streetfighter” and as the lead role in the drama “The Joy Luck Club”. She again lent her voice for Disney’s sequel to Mulan. Other voiceovers include animated movies like “Batman” and “Spawn”. |
