Minka Kelly bio
Minka Dumont Kelly is an American celebrity who is popular for starring in the primetime series “Friday Night Lights”. She was also named “Sexiest Woman Alive” by Esquire magazine in 2010. She was born on June 24, 1980 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are former Aerosmith member Rick Dufay and exotic dancer Maureen Kelly. Notable feature films that she starred in are “500 Days Of Summer”, “State’s Evidence”, and “The Kingdom”. Though Kelly has appeared in a respectable number of feature films, it came as a surprise when her claim to fame came in the form of a cheerleader in the NBC television series, “Friday Night Lights”. Her performance in the said series was said to be “heartbreaking” by the New York Times. She was among other celebrities who appeared in a noble public service announcement that aims to increase awareness of breast cancer. Kelly also regularly supports promotion of the organization, “Stand Up 2 Cancer”.
