| Monica Keena is an American actress popular for portraying Abby Morgan on Dawson's Creek. Born on May 28, 1979, in New Jersey, Keena grew up in Brooklyn, New York City and was a student of Saint Ann's private school. At age 13, she was accepted at Laguarda High School of Performing arts. Her acting debut was in a short film entitled 'Burning Love,' before getting her big break starring in Strindberg's 'The Father' alongside Al Pacino, and landed the lead role in 'Snow White: A Tale of Terror' opposite Sigourney Weaver. Other notable film credits include 'First Daughter,' 'While You Were Sleeping' with Sandra Bullock, 'Bad Girls From Valley High' co-starring the late Jonathan Brandis and Julie Benz, and the popular heroine Lori Campbell in the 2006 horror flick 'Freddy vs. Jason.' On TV, she portrayed Abby Morgan on 'Dawson's Creek,' a lead part in 'Undeclared,' and special appearances on 'Law and Order' and 'Grey's Anatomy.' |
