| Nicole Austin, popularly known as Coco, or Coco Marie, is an American actress/dancer, model married to rapper Ice-T. Born on March 17, in Palos Verdes, California, Nicole ended up being adressed as Coco earlier on and had a tomboy image, and was into rough sports like football. She also received formal training in ballet, tap and jazz form her mother at age six. Coco triumphed in her first ever model-search contest ate 14, taking home a $20,000 scholarship as the grand prize. In 1998, she won Mexico's Miss Ujena contest at 18 and worked with Playboy in 2001, lasting for six months. Her acting stint would land her roles in low-budget flicks such as 'Southwest Babes,' 'Dirty Monks' and 'Desert Rose' to name a few. TV credits include 'E! Hip-Hop Wives,' 'Jamie Kennedy' and 'Law and Order: Special Victims Unit.' She wed actor/rapper Ice-T on December 31, 2005. |
