Nicole Richie - Biography, pictures and video galleries
| Born on September 21, 1981 in Berkeley California, Nicole Camille Richie is the adopted daughter of famous singer, Lionel Richie and Brenda Harvey-Richie. When she was in her early teen years, Nicole started doing drugs and drinking alcohol. When her parents split, Nicole used drugs and alcohol even more. Before she went into rehab in 2003, Nicole has been involved in 5 car accidents and 3 police arrests. Raised in an affluent family, Nicole attended the exclusive Buckley School in Los Angeles where she met Paris Hilton. Together, the two starred in a reality show called “The Simple Life.” The show was such a hit that it spawned two more seasons--- “The Simple Life 2: Road Trip” and “The Simple Life 3: Interns”--- before the rumored falling apart of the former best friends. A fourth season of “The Simple Life” still aired, but it no longer featured the two onscreen together. Aside from her reality shows, Nicole also published a book called, “The Truth About Diamonds” and an album is set to be released soon. |
