Nina Dobrev bio
Nina Dobrev is a Bulgarian-Canadian actress/model. Born on January 9, 1989, in Sofia Bulgaria, Dobrev grew up in Toronto, Ontario, after migrating at the age of 2. She developed a passion for theater, music, gymnastics, visual arts, acting dance during her childhood years and was a student of the Dean Armstrong Acting School. Dobrev majored in sociology at the Ryerson University of Toronto, but eventually dropped out in 2008 to prioritize her acting career. Dobrev entered modelling early in her career, appearing on commericals. She then purused acting, landing roles in feature films such as 'Away from Her,' 'Never Cry Werewolf,' 'Fugitive Pieces,' including the TV series 'Degrasso: The Next Generation,' among others. She currently portrays a dual role in the TV series 'Vampire Diaries.' She also appeared in Chloe, an erotic thriller courtesy of Sony Pictures Classics, which grossed $3 million in the US alone, and considered one of top grossers in the US with regards to specialty films.
