Pink - Biography, pictures and video galleries
| Pink is an American pop singer and songwriter famous for her radical singing act and unorthodox way of clothing. Most prominently, she is notable for the color of her hair which is the same as her monicker: pink. Born Alecia Beth Moore on September 8, 1979 in Pennsylvania, Pink started her career singing in clubs in Philadelphia at the age of fourteen. She entered the lime light when she sang as back-up vocals for Diana Ross and 98 Degrees before being discovered. In 2000, she released her first album entitled "Can't Take Me Home" which reached the double platinum status. To date, she has released four albums, all of which have reached platinum status, married Carey Hart a motorcross racer, and has a dog named Fucker. She also admits having a girlfriend at the age of thirteen but does not identify herself as a lesbian. In 2006, she starred in the movie Catacombs and was later shortlisted to play as Janis Joplin in the movie The Gospel According to Janis but chose not to participate in it. |
