Polly Walker bio
Polly Walker is an English film and television actress. She was bor on May 19, 1996 in Cheshire, England. When she was sixteen years old, Walker trained as a ballet dancer in Ballet Rembert School but two years later had to give up her ballet shoes because of a serious leg injury. Disapponited, she decided to pursue a career as an actress. Her earliest performances were theater and stage plays in Royal Shakespeare Company and the Drama Center. Her first on-screen debut was whne she received the lead role in a television show called “Lorna Doone”. She would eventually make a mark in various television series such as “Caprica”, “State of Play”, and “Rome”. Her performace in Rome earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress. Walker would also appear in feature filmslike “Les Equilibristes” and “Enchanted April”. As for her personal life, Walker has had two failed marriages with Delilah and Giorgio. She is now married to Laurence Penry-Jones.
