Pussycat Dolls bio
The Pussycat Dolls, also known as PCD, is an American music group whose members are: Nicole Scherzinger, lead singer; Carmit Bachar; Kimberly Wyatt; Ashley Roberts, Melody Thornton; and Jessica Sutta. PCD has over twenty-nine nominations and five awards including 2006 MTV Best Dance Video, 2006 Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Song, and others from international award-giving bodies. In 2004, they did the opening number for the MTV Video Music Awards. They have also collaborated with huge hip-hop acts such as Snooop Dog, Timbaland, and P.Diddy. PCD was founded by choreographer Robin Antin in 1995 as a burlesque dance group from Los Angeles. But Ron Fair and Jimmy Lovine, both music producers, got involved, and they transformed PCD into a Pop and R&B recording group. Many critics have been asking why it took so long for them to appear in the spotlight. Though no one is for sure, success has been behind them since their first album in 2004.
