| Rachael Leigh Cook is an American actress born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on October 4, 1979. Cook started her career as a print model at the age of 10 but her starring role in She's All That, played opposite Freddie Prinze Jr., gave her the international fame that she now enjoys. At the age of 10, she started appearing in print ads for Milk-Bone and Target. It was in 1996 when the modeling agency she works for made her read a script of 26 Summer Street, a short-film, which changed her life. She moved on to acting since that day. After that short-film break, she starred in numerous low-profile roles that eventually led her to She's All That in which she won awards. Today, she still keeps working on low-profile projects while enjoying her married life with Daniel Gillies. They live in Los Angeles but frequent Minnesota to visit Rachael's family. |
