| Rachel Bilson is an American actress popularly known as Summer Roberts in the television series The O.C. She was born in Los Angeles, California on August 25, 1981. Growing up in a show business family, Rachel admittedly got everything what she always wanted. She had her rebellious moment during her teenage years which led to a fatal car accident. The accident, which involved another car on a head-on collision, changed her life. She then told herself to quit making trouble and start life seriously. She later on participated in school more actively, particularly in plays, which gave her way to an acting career. Bilson debuted in 2003 and have been successful ever since. In 2005, she received awards including Teen Choice Awards for Choice Hottie Female, Choice TV Drama Actress, and Best Onscreen TV Chemistry (with Adam Brody); Maxim 2005 Hot 100 List (#6), and Maxim 2006 Hot 100 List (#14). But personally, she thinks her body is sacred and is not for public display; thus, she only appears in semi-nude poses in magazines. |
