| Enigmatic Hollywood actress Winona Ryder was born in Winona, Minnesota, the town she was named after. She grew up in a humble community where simplicity is the thing. But the simple things are not suitable to this attractive actress since her first film role in "Little Women" dawned at her. Ryder took up acting lessons while auditioning for many movie parts until she's found for Martin Scorsese's hit blockbuster movie "The Age of Innocence." From there, Ryder never looked back and moved forward to do more unforgettable characters in more unforgettable films including "Girl, Interrupted," "Autumn in New York," "Mr. Deeds," and "The Heart Is Deceitful Above All Things." Ryder quite made a stir during the latter part of 2001 when she was arrested for shoplifting. She was later on found guilty as charged and was asked to pay for the necessary fines and perform around 500 hours of community service. |
